Mr. Curt Hickok

My name is Curt Hickok, I own and instruct at H+H Karate with my son Donald Hickok. I have been in the martial arts for seven years.

I started martial arts when I was 45 years young and achieved my Black Belt when I was 48. I have a lot of experience in grappling and ground defense. I was a wrestling coach for two years in Hanoi Germany and also at De Soto High School. These skills are very valuable to teach with martial arts.

I compete in several tournaments throughout the year and last year was NCKA top sparring competitor in the fifty and over division.

I still work full time in the plumbing and heating business but continue to operate the karate studio five nights a week and Saturdays. I love working with kids, teens and adults to help them realize their own potential. Working different programs with students who get to earn my trophies that I win are one of the things I enjoy the most. Life skills, life lessons and awesome martial arts along with family values is what you will see taught at H+H Karate.
